Indeed, it’s important to acknowledge that trades initiated shortly before a news event and swiftly closed, particularly those with fills that appear unrealistic within the simulated trading environment, may be subject to invalidation.
I would like to emphasize that the objective is not to jeopardize your account; rather, trades that are found to breach realistic fill expectations during high-impact news events may be invalidated. This measure aims to ensure fairness and integrity in our trading environment.
Leverage is a financial tool that empowers traders to command larger position sizes with a relatively smaller amount of capital. It has the capacity to amplify both potential gains and potential losses. Throughout the Ascendx Capital 2-stage evaluation and in Qualified Trader accounts, we provide leverage of up to 100:1 on our simulated trading accounts. This means that for every $1 in your trading account, you can influence a position size of up to $100.
We urge traders to exercise responsibility and remain cognizant of the risks associated with leverage and its impact on trading performance. While no actual capital is at risk in our assessments or Qualified Trader accounts, it’s crucial to recognize that leverage can significantly affect your trading strategy. Being mindful of the potential benefits and pitfalls of leverage is fundamental to sound trading practices.
There are no maximum lot size limits during the challenge phase. However, please note that on qualified trader accounts, there are specific maximum lot limits based on the account size.
Prohibited trading strategies at our firm encompass the following:
Taking advantage of unrealistic prices or trade opportunities, including practices such as arbitrage, latency trading, front-running price feeds, and exploiting mispricing.
● Latency trading.
● Arbitrage trading.
● High-frequency trading.
● Reverse trading or group hedging.
● Martingale Strategy.
Furthermore, we do not permit account management services, and all accounts and trades must be conducted by the trader whose name is associated with the account. If you have uncertainties about the compliance of your Expert Advisor (EA) or manual scalping strategy, we encourage you to create a free trial account in our dashboard and seek our review and approval of the strategy before proceeding with an evaluation.
It’s important to emphasize that taking these rules seriously is crucial, especially if your goal is to attain a qualified trader account with an allocation of up to $500,000. Dedicate the necessary time to thoroughly comprehend the rules, objectives, and requirements to ensure a successful evaluation process.
At Ascendx Capital, we maintain a stringent policy against trading strategies that fall under the category of “all or nothing.” Such strategies are not compatible with our approach, and we do not entertain or endorse trading styles that rely on this principle.

We firmly reject trades that exhibit characteristics of “all or nothing,” and we do not accept strategies reliant on this type of trading. We firmly believe that any trading activity categorized as gambling does not align with our values of risk management, profitability, and market consistency. Engaging in such activities will lead to the termination of your contract and the removal of your Qualified Trader Account.
Free retries are not available due to our offering of unlimited trading days. We have removed restrictions from our evaluation process. Please note that this change allows for more flexibility in your trading journey
